v1.18
What's new in Total Family 1.18.
Version 1.18 takes a few detours out of the way. Feedback and help open where you already are, pages that were always free stay reachable, and finding a household no longer depends on remembering the family name.

Improvements
Feedback and help open where you are
Give Feedback in the settings sidebar used to send you to a separate page. It now opens on top of whatever you were looking at, the same way it already worked from the help icon, so you can say your piece and carry straight on.

Need Help behaves the same way. Describe what is going on and it reaches the team directly.

Bug fixes
- Free pages stay free. If the partner supporting your family was on a trial that ran out, Quotes and My Journey were locked behind an upgrade prompt even though both are free. They stay open now, and only the premium tasks inside My Journey are locked individually

- The tour no longer walks you into a locked page. The guided tour used to run on pages sitting behind the upgrade prompt, so it would invite you to add a quote you could not actually add. It now stops where the upgrade prompt applies, including when you restart it from the help menu
- Billing and Payment stays put. Cancelling a premium plan removed the page outright and took your past plans and invoices with it. Once a family has been premium the page stays for good, so that history stays available

- Partner billing links stay private. On a family billed through a partner, the partner's private billing link was included in the dashboard data sent to every member and guest, even though only a partner admin ever sees the button that uses it. It is now created only when a partner admin actually asks for it

Improvements
Search families by any member's name
The Families search only matched the family name, so finding a household meant remembering what it was filed under. It now matches member names as well, first, last, or full, alongside the family name. Partial matches and capitalisation work exactly as before.

Feedback and help open where you are
Give Feedback in the settings sidebar used to send you to a separate page. It now opens on top of whatever you were looking at, matching how it already worked from the help icon. Need Help does the same.
Invite a family, person first
The Invite Family form asked for the household's details before the details of the person you were actually inviting. It now leads with the head of household, first name, last name, and email, then the family fields. What gets submitted has not changed.

Quicker sign-in
Signing in used to load every family you belong to just to work out who you were. It no longer does, so signing in and moving between pages is faster, most noticeably if you support a lot of households.
Bug fixes
- Purpose Statement is off the family profile. The field was visible and editable on the Family Profile page, where it was never meant to appear
