Plans and the Trial
What the free plan covers, how the trial works, and what happens after.
Firms start free, and the free plan is deliberately limited. The platform your clients are meant to experience arrives with the 30-day trial.

Your client families do not pay. A household you invite gets Premium through your firm's plan.
Starting the Trial
Start Free Trial sits in your dashboard top bar and on the dashboard itself.
Two choices: Stay on the Free Plan, or Activate 30-day Premium Trial.
Activating hands you to our payment provider. The licence is priced in AUD and you can pay in either supported currency. Upgrade to Premium walks through that whole flow.
You Are Not Charged Today
A card is taken at activation, but nothing is billed on the day. The header restates the terms throughout: 30 days free, then the annual price, with the exact date billing would begin.
Adding Colleagues Costs a Seat
Each colleague you invite adds a seat, so Total Family confirms before sending the invitation.
You can add advisors at any point during the trial. The additional seat is included in your first billing cycle after the trial ends, not immediately. My Team covers the invitation itself.
When the 30 Days End
Your card is charged for the annual licence, including any seats added during the trial, on the date the dialog told you.
If you do not continue, your firm returns to the free plan. Nothing your families have written is deleted. Their households drop to the family free plan, where Quotes and My Journey stay open and their existing vision, letters, and milestones remain theirs.
That last point is worth saying to a client up front. Families sometimes assume their material is tied to your subscription. It is not.
