Living Vision

The Living Vision feature allows you to continuously refine and update your vision after it’s been created.
It covers both Personal Vision and Family Vision.

Personal Vision

Your Personal Vision is made up of Values, Purpose, and Roles.
Here’s how you can edit and refine it:

1. Defining Values

• Hover over your values to reveal the Define Value option.

• A definition box will appear where you can explain the meaning of the value in your own words.

• Once defined, the value will be highlighted, showing it is complete.

2. Editing Vision (Refine Options)

From the top menu:

• Select Edit Vision.

• You will see two options:
  • Edit Specific Sections – update values, purpose, or roles individually.
  • Redefine Vision – retake the entire vision process from scratch.

3. Editing Purpose

• Select the Purpose section in edit mode.

• Update your vision statement and click Define to save changes.

4. Editing Values

• Select the Values section.

• You will be redirected to the Values page, where you can:

• Review your previous selection.
• Adjust your chosen values from the full list.
• Narrow down from 15 values → Top 5 values.

5. Editing Roles

• Select the Roles section.

• Update the roles you play in your life (e.g., Parent, Career, Friend, etc.).

• This allows you to track how your roles evolve over time.

6. Version History

• From the top menu, open Version History.

• A right-hand panel will appear showing past edits with timestamps.

• You can view details of each change (e.g., when a value was defined or purpose updated).

Family Vision

The Family Vision is focused on shared values and family priorities, rather than roles.
Here’s how you can edit it:

1. Editing Family Values

• Hover over values and click Define Value.

• Define the meaning in your own words for the family.

• Save once the value is complete.

2. Editing Priorities

• Under Family Vision, you can edit two sets of priorities:

• Family Priorities – e.g., “Being there for one another in tough times.”

• Life Stage Priorities – e.g., “Helping kids grow, learn, and thrive.”

• Use the Edit Priorities button to adjust and update them.

Living Vision Summary

The Living Vision gives you the flexibility to evolve your Personal and Family Visions over time.
You can refine Values, Purpose, Roles, and Priorities, ensuring your vision reflects what matters most as life changes.
