The Chat with Kin feature provides an AI assistant that helps users explore the Family Resource Library and Partner Resource Library based on their role. It answers questions about Total Family content and workflows, citing the relevant documents.

Overview
Chat with Kin is designed to help you find answers quickly by searching through Total Family's knowledge base.
Key behaviour:
- Answers questions related to Total Family and its Resource Library
- Cites the specific document the answer is based on
- Does not answer general or unrelated questions
Who Can Use It
- Family members
- Partner users
How to Access
You can open Chat with Kin in two ways:
- Click the "Chat with Kin" button in the top right corner of the portal
- Select "Chat with Kin" from the left sidebar menu
Starting a Conversation
On the New Conversation page:
- Type your own question in the input field, or
- Click one of the suggested prompts to get started
Viewing Previous Conversations
You can revisit any previous conversation:
- Open the Conversations list
- Click the question you want to revisit to open that thread
Deleting Conversations
To delete a conversation or clear your source history:
- Navigate to the conversation you want to delete
- Use the delete option to remove it
